Q&A

Is transportation provided to and from the wedding?

No — but fear not, there are tons of Uber / Lyft options in NYC, and they'll usually arrive at your location within a few minutes.

Those feeling adventurous enough to take the subway will have a rather unpicturesque but short walk to or from the stations (F train at 21st St - Queensbridge / 7, N, W trains at Queensboro Plaza / G, E, M, or 7 trains at Court Sq).

What should I wear?

To us, formal attire really just means something that you feel fabulous and comfortable in.

For ladies, we suggest a midi or maxi dress or pantsuit, and for men, we suggest a suit and tie.

Will it be outdoors?

It'll be a mix of indoor-outdoor. Weather permitting, the ceremony and dinner reception will be in the outdoor courtyard. We'll be monitoring the weather closely and will install an insulated tent for dinner if needed.

Cocktail hour will be held in the indoor greenhouse and dancing will be held inside. Although early October in New York is usually very comfortable, it's possible it could get chilly at night so we do recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl.

Do you have hotel blocks available for discounted rooms?

We have a discounted room block at The Penny Williamsburg. This is central to the weekend festivities but we've included a spectrum of options on the travel page.

Are kids welcome at the wedding?

Although we LOVE kids, due to venue constraints, our wedding weekend will be adults only.

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to very tight venue capacity and a desire to keep the day very intimate, we ask guests not to bring a plus one unless they are specified on the invitation. Seating arrangements are only allocated for invited guests. â€‹
